Mein Erntedankfest

Meine ganze Familie war bei meinen Großeltern zu Erntedankfest. Die Großeltern wohnen in Mesa, Arizona. Wir sind acht Stunden im Auto gefahren bis zum Mesa. Es war eine lange Fahrt, aber hat doch Spaß gemacht. Wir haben viele Tiere unterwegs gesehen; Kühe, Pferde, Schafe, Rehe, und ein Paar Katzen.

Die ganze Familie ist gekommen- die Onkels, Tanten, Cousinen und so weiter. Wir haben ein großes Fest gehabt. Meine Oma hat gekocht und alles hat gut geschmeckt. Wir haben natürlich Pute gegessen, aber das ist nicht alles. Wir ihr seht, haben wir viel gegessen: Schinken, Mais, Kartoffeln mit Soße (mein Lieblings) Sellerie mit Käse, Oliven und Salat. Und Nachtisch? Man kann den Nachttisch nicht vergessen. Zum Nachtisch es gab Kürbispastete mit oder ohne Schlagzahne. Ich esse immer mit Schlagzahne, denn es schmeckt so gut.

Nach dem Essen, waren wir alle völlig satt. Mein Onkel Fred hat drei Stunden auf der Couch geschlafen und wir haben einen Footballspiel im Fernsehen angeschaut. Wie immer, die Detroit Lions haben wieder verloren. Das Erntedankfest hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht!
